In the lead-up to the 2026 general election in New Zealand, less than half of 18 to 24-year-olds were enrolled to vote, the lowest enrolment statistics in recent history. The reasons why varied greatly, but a common theme was present: they didn’t think voting was for them. Our solution, a campaign to get young people to enrol to vote that was just as varied as their reasons why they weren’t. We created OOH that was actually engaging, Enrolment Noodles that gave influencers something interesting to talk about, and brought to life Orange Guy’s cousin to say and do things that Orange Guy couldn’t. At the time enrolments closed, 70.2% of young New Zealanders were now enrolled, and Temu was running low on orange morph suits.
